Gorgeous Glass Tiles

I’m designing a tile backsplash with a client using glass tiles.   Since glass can get a little pricey, it’s a great solution for a back splash because of the smaller space and it can be used in combination with porcelain or ceramic tile to be cost-effective.

One of my go to places in Charleston for tile is Palmetto Tile www.palmettotile.com.  Judy, Maggie and Jason are a delight to work with.

After wading through the many choices, some favorites emerged.

One of the products we are using on my current tile project are the Glass Blox Collection from Crossville Tile.  With an array of colors and a multitude of sizes, design options are endless.

This backsplash design, from American Olean, is a good example of using a limited amount of glass tiles in combination with other tile materials.

Though not glass, I had to include the delightful Mercury Mosaics tiles, for whimsy
