2011 Designer Showhouse

The William Steele House at 89 Beaufain Street is a historic home that was once visited by General Robert E. Lee. In 1811, construction began by the Steele Family who owned a local sawmill.  The finest materials and skilled artisan craftsman from the area were used to construct the house.  Orignal hand carved mantles and moldings have been carefully restored by removing 33 layers of paint in some areas.

Get there soon to see the transformation.

After touring the house we had a little something French at Gaulart & Maliclet on Broad Street
